It’s a Stitch Up

I have been designing and making clothes and accessories, and screen-printing textiles for many years now - both for fun and for profit. I discovered that I love knitting just a couple of years ago but it’s become a major interest of mine. Right now, I’m keen to draw on my tailoring experience and get stuck into knitwear design.

I like combining fitted silhouettes found in traditional tailoring with unusual shapes and textures. I like combining vibrant and muted colours for interesting effects.

I prefer to knit with natural fibres and I’m keen to support British yarn companies, and those outside the UK that have solid ethical and environmental policies.

I live in East London. During the day I’m the technical manager of large arts website. I’m always busy - when I’m not working (or knitting), I’m out taking pictures, playing records or growing things at my allotment.
